Living in a space of love is the ‘GREATEST POWER’ - Times of India, Bangalore
The man who teaches the art of living to millions with simply a radiant warm smile or a few words of affection believes living in a space of love is the greatest power. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the spiritual guru from Bangalore whose creed is global today, believes that power is the ability to contribute. It is being useful to people. “The responsibility you take for other people is power. If you realize the purpose of why you are doing it, it gives you clarity and vision. Many people think power is about money, religion or politics but I don’t think so. A common man is powerful,” says Sri Sri.
On a lighter note, he adds that the child in the house is the most powerful. If he or she falls ill, no one else will go for a movie. If the child weeps, it worries the family. Everyone obliges and loved the child. “That is soft power,” he laughs.
