Sri Sri Ravi Shankar launched the ‘Save Life India’ project, a special blood donation initiative.
The over 2000-strong audience pledged to support blood donation and work towards community welfare in the event entitled, ‘My India, My Vision.’
On the Happiness tour of Bahrain, Sri Sri was welcomed by the Royal family and other dignitaries and spoke to the the corporate community on business ethics, clarity of mind and spirituality being essential for creating a stress-free society.
Sri Sri was the keynote speaker at the Maruti Suzuki Convention to inspire the crowd on ‘The Way of Life’ on May 4 in Rome, Italy. He underlined the importance of a cordial and stress-free atmosphere at work places.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar addressed the inaugural ceremony of the Sri Sri Gnan Mandir, a free school, in Bhunbaneswarnagar, Kachar Dist, Assam. This schools will educate over 400 children for free.
The next day, Sri Sri met children from two of Art of Living’s free school’s from Nalbari and Barduarbagan near Guwahati.
Citizens of Kolkata turned out in thousands to welcome the Art of Living Founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on April 8th, 2014. Sri Sri interacted and addressed more than 10,000 enthusiastic volunteers that morning, in Netaji Indoor Stadium. They had worked dedicatedly for the Volunteer for Better India (VBI) Campaign with the aim of raising public awareness for exercising one’s vote.
